A heritage, slipskin variety prized for making juice, jams and homespun wine. Concord has the hardiness, vigor, disease resistance and strong, classic flavor that has made it the nation's most popular juice and jelly grape. It requires too much summer heat to ripen well in Western Washington but is a great choice in the East and Mid West. Cool summer growers should select Campbell's Early if they want a Concord-style grape. Grows in USDA Zone 5-9. Ripens in October.
